Heather Hines
Attorney
Ms. Hines is a graduate of Widener University, School of Law. During her time in Law School, she interned for the Chester County District Attorney’s Office and for Delaware County Common Please Judge, Kathrynann W. Durham.
Shortly after graduation from Law School, Heather became an Assistant District Attorney in Montgomery County. She worked there for nine years, during which time she focused her litigation skills on prosecuting offenders for gun, drug, violent crimes and sex offenses. She received multiple awards for her work on violent crimes, for her successful prosecutions of violent crimes in the Pottstown area and for a first-degree murder conviction she achieved.
She then transitioned to the Senior Law Center in Bucks County. She opened up the Bucks County Office of this non-profit as a “Legal Aid” type organization for senior crime victims. She has appeared in many local and County Courts advocating on behalf of seniors. Ms. Hines then transitioned to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, where she became Chief of the Forfeiture Unit. She subsequently clerked for the Honorable Stephen A. Corr upon leaving the District Attorney’s Office.
Subsequent to her clerkship, she entered private practice. She is currently employed with Kevin L. Hand, P.C. and focuses her practice on domestic ralations and criminal law. She handles divorce, support, custody, PFAs and other similar family law matters. With Heather’s extensive criminal background as a Prosecutor, she is highly recognized for defending adult offenders in the State Courts.
Ms. Hines is an active member of the Bucks County Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania and Bucks County Bar Associations, and is admitted to practice in the Federal Courts of Pennsylvania. Ms. Hines enjoys biking, traveling, spending time with her family and volunteering when at all possible.
